Wow what a great place to visit our do a course
An experience if you drive through Blackwater Don't. Stop and check out the International Coal Center well worth the the stop and good coffee also
Not bad for $5, learned some pretty interesting stuff. It was slightly under construction. Do not get the Berry smoothie, or ask for no honey. My friend and I both got one nd it tasted like there was a whole pot of honey in it. I could only drink a quarter before having to throw it out. They have some snacks nd coffee also.
Good informative displays and videos. Helps to emphasise that coal is needed for other things apart from power generation. Peaceful Japanese Garden. Nice coffee & cakes.
Very interesting. Only about 50% of the audiovisual displays were working which was a shame but the rest was superb. The models are fantastic. Worth the visit.
